RIO DULCE KAYAK TOUR AND CANOPY TOUR COMBO
ON THIS TOUR YOU WILL:
We first depart from the cruise terminal in a certified boat to the Rio Dulce, and ride along the shoreline. Enjoy the variety of seagulls, pelicans, knights and other bird species of the region as well as some migratory ones; you will also see the fishermen going about their daily activities, a short stop at Posada EL Delfín to sample local fruit and use the restrooms.
As we enter the Rio Dulce Canyon a feeling of easiness will overtake you as you contemplate the 300 foot walls full of vegetation and jungle sounds, you will also learn about the pirates and buccaneers that once dominated the area.
At Cayo Quemado you will board your kayak and follow your tour guide to paddle along the shoreline and trough spectacular mangrove channels, arriving at MayaTenamit Resort. There we will take a shore ride on a mule to your first station, the El Mirador Zip Line.
When we finish the four stations, we will enjoy a restaurant lunch, afterwards returning to the cruise terminal.

Trip started with an amazing boat ride to Livingston where we stopped for water and fruit. Boat ride on to our kayak pick up point. We kayaked down the river with stunning views, it was also so peaceful. Before lunch we ended up doing some zip lines. We can’t thank Gus and the team enough. This was a fantastic trip and great value for the price. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough.
